I’ve been obsessed with dogs my whole life and stumbled into the pet grooming industry in 2000 while in college completing a Liberal Arts degree, thinking I would move on after graduation but I never did! I’ve always been held captive with the ability to make a dog’s day better, and it turns out, they are actually making my day better as well! Any time I have assessed my career satisfaction I just look at how much I still love all of the dogs and know I’m on the right path. 

A passion for curated, high level pet styling combined with developing personal relationships with clients and pups led me to start the salon in south Minneapolis with a fellow groomer in 2014, and in 2022 I took over as sole owner! We just celebrated our tenth year of service! 

I live in South Minneapolis with my husband and pups!

Hi! My name is Sophie and I have been with Foxy Dogs since 2019. My grooming career extends over a decade and I have been an award winning competitive groomer since 2021. If I'm not at the salon, I am most likely at a competition with Lionel, my mini poodle or a dog show with Smash, my Bedlington Terrier. I adore my little boys and wouldn't be where I am at in my career without them. They have both given me multiple first place wins in grooming competitions and Smash is absolutely the best to show! I was nominated for 2 Barkleigh awards; Instagram of the Year in 2021 and Up and Coming Groomer of the Year in 2023. I specialize in breed trims and scissor cuts as well as fun creative styles focusing on Asian Fusion.

Hi, I’m Rachel! I’ve been a part of the Foxy Dogs team since 2023, but have been grooming since 2021. My favorite part of this job is all of the amazing dogs I get to meet and work with. I have never met a dog I didn’t love! Every day I look forward to treating each pup to their special spa day. I have grown up with dogs, and currently have one of my own. Her name is Luna, and she’s a 30 pound pit bull/cattle dog mix with a big, goofy personality. She loves Foxy Dogs almost as much as me!

I'm Cas, I have worked at Foxy Dogs since 2021. Dogs have always been a big part of my life growing up, from fostering to at home pet-sitting. I started as a problem solver and bather here and recently finished grooming school! Working with the talented Foxy Dogs team has been amazing to further my education! I don’t currently have any dogs of my own, so the best part about being at Foxy Dogs is getting to spend time with and work with all your pups!

My name is Emily and I’ve been grooming since 2017! I’m a fan of all breeds but my heart belongs to schnauzers. I love a pup with a personality and pride myself in making the dogs I work with comfortable, happy, and looking great! There’s not a lot I wouldn’t do to see that tail wag :)

HI, my name is Wendy! I have been grooming for over 25 years.  I have a small terrier mix named Deuce Mackerel who loves to be outside and play ball–all the time lol!  My favorite dog to groom is a good blow-out or golden retriever. Looking forward to meeting your little buddy :)

Hey all! My name is Judas, and I began my grooming journey in 2020 as a mobile dog groomer. I am certified in pet first aid through the ISCC, and I’ve regularly attended grooming seminars throughout my career. In mid 2025, I moved from Texas and began my next professional chapter here at Foxy Dogs! I love big dogs who need a thorough deshed, dogs who only need a bit of extra patience, and any dog who gets a silly or unique cut. 

On a more personal note, I have my own Dutch Shepard mix named Baby; she takes up most of my spare time between training, going on walks, and napping, but I manage to squeeze in a few extracurriculars like painting and drumming anyways.
